Jade began dancing at the age of 3 and has not stopped since. After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts secondary and tertiary courses with a Bachelor of Dance, Jade went on to perform professionally in the contemporary dance field.

Along with being the principal teacher and choreographer for Body Electric, Jade and her company have been part of many arts festivals in Melbourne. Other projects include choreography for television series Offspring and Magazine Wars.

Having trained extensively in ballet, contemporary and jazz, she now enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge by facilitating opportunities for the enjoyment of dance and the thrill of performing.

Aisha has over 20 years of experience in dance. She started dancing at the age of 7 training in Ballet and Jazz and joined the Royal New Zealand ballet at age 12. Aisha has choreographed and danced for many artists including Kimbra, Kylie Minogue, Guy Sebastian & Delta Goodrem. She has recently completed a course with one of LA’s leading dance schools, Millennium Dance Complex – continuing to grow her skills in Jazz funk & Hip hop. Aisha has a strong passion for music & movement. She is beyond excited to spread the GROOV3MENT to Australia

Once you have downloaded the app, create an account with the same email you’re currently using to book online. Once logged in, simply tap on the search icon and type in our business name to see our schedule and book your next class. After you book you can easily find us again from your Favorites.

Cancelling Classes

If you can no longer make a class, please cancel your booking online. All group classes have a six hour cancellation policy. Cancellations six hours or more before class are early cancels and will automatically refund the class credit. Cancellations less than six hours before class are late cancels. We greatly appreciate if you go online and late cancel bookings (rather than just not turn up), as this will allow a spot in the class to open up for another participant.


Waitlists

If a class is full, you can also put yourself on the waitlist for this class. Waitlist spots nearly always come through as we do , so please only waitlist if you are certain you will be able to attend the class. Once you have been allocated a spot via email and txt, you are holding a place in the class, regardless if you have “confirmed” the text or not.

Walk-ins
If you have not booked online or are on the waitlist for a class, you are more than welcome to show up and take any available places in the class. Although it’s not guaranteed, you will more than likely get a spot. All classes have a capacity limit and we be holding places for all booked dancers


Late Arrivals

Please make all effort to arrive on time for sessions as classes as for your safety it is recommended you attend both the warm up & cool down phases of the class.

    Brendy started performing at the age of 21 and trained as a dancer at The Space Arts & Dance Centre in 2012. Since then he has performed in and choreographed musicals and film clips, as well as commercial and private events. Over the last 3 years Brendy has also produced/directed & performed in his own works within the Melbourne Musical Theatre and Cabaret scene. A high energy performer, Brendy’s style of choreography has a sense of Vegas Showgirl, Motown, 60’s Pop, Drag, Disco, 80’s energy …. but overall it’ll leave you feeling fabulous.

Liam is a dancer from Melbourne who specialises in various genres of dance. His prominent background of ballet training sparked him into a professional career at the age of 15. Since then he has participated in numerous corporate performances as well as sharing the stage with local and international artists.
Liam’s talents have seen him on Australia’s “So You Think You Can Dance” as well as dancing around the world with Celebrity Cruises. Most recently performed as part of the Australian tour of Matador. He has been part of the Body electric team for the past 12 months and loves to bring a high energy and commercial vibe to his classes..

Sign up for any class with “ONLINE LIVE STREAM” in the name and check out normally. You’ll receive a confirmation email from FitGrid soon after.
Once you’re within 60 minutes of the class’ scheduled start time, you’ll receive another email from FitGrid with a unique link to access the live stream. Not seeing the email? Search your spam and promotions folders. Look for subject lines containing the phrase “live-stream link”.

Make sure you are in a place with a good internet connection–otherwise, the stream may skip!
Click your unique link a few minutes before class is scheduled to start.
